The Hotel Le Fontanelle therefore proposes to its Guests and outside customers its prestigious "Restaurant La Colonna" that through creativity, taste and elegance, will enhance the flavours of the Tuscan cookery and combine Wines from our own production expertly selected by our Sommelier.

Everything will be wrapped in the magic atmosphere of our interior dining room or enriched by the breathtaking views of the Chianti hills from the fabulous Belvedere Terrace of our "Restaurant La Colonna", which will definetely captivate you.

Restaurant

The “Restaurant La Colonna” of the Hotel Le Fontanelle takes its name precisely from the “column” around which one of the most ancient area of the complex was created. The personalisation and excellence of the Service is assured with professionalism by our Maître d'hôtel, Mr. Vittorio Terracino, and his service Staff.

Our Cuisine is conducted by our Chef Daniele Canella, who creates Menus in balance between traditional and innovative refinement in an attempt to provoque regional perfumes, aromas and flavours. He proposes dishes prepared with local and fresh products. You will be enthralled by our traditional tasting menu or our "à la carte" seasonal selections and by our Pastry Chef prepared dessert selection. Our sommelier will advise you in your selection of Wine among our many proposed labels. Our rich breakfast buffet will amaze you with its fragrance and perfume of cakes and Homemade bread that will provide a perfect start to your day.

The “Restaurant La Colonna” and during the summer period our panoramic "Belvedere Terrace", are opened for Breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 and for dinner from 19:30 to 22:00. The Restaurant is also accessible to external customers (upon reservation). Gentlemen are kindly requested to wear trousers.

For daily lunches and snacks, the Hotel Le Fontanelle presents its Lunch/Snack Bar "La Macina" which is located near the outdoor swimming pool area and is open from 12:30 pm to 19:00 pm. You will also find the high standards of the “Restaurant La Colonna” in our interior Lounge Bar and in the summer at our Belvedere Terrace and Snack Bar "La Macina".

Lounge Bar

The interior Lounge Bar of the Hotel Le Fontanelle reflects the refined elegance that you will find in the entire Hotel. A relaxing space featuring a refined living area with antique furniture, a play corner, a piano, a library, a fireplace and romantic background music, which will make you feel right at Home!

The ideal place for your Afternoon tea, where you'll be able to enjoy a renowned selection of teas and Homemade pastries and cookies. Time will glide, almost without you realizing it to Cocktail time and our Barman will be happy to prepare refined cocktails and finger foods. To make the atmosphere even more welcoming, objects with a timeless touch have been placed around you, all recovered from the past and presented in an elegant, yet casual way, inviting our Guests to relax and enjoy every single moment in this soothing space.

Pool Bar

The Light Lunch/Snack Pool Bar is located by the outdoor swimming pool, where you will be able to dine informally in the open air, while still enjoying the same standard of Service and Cuisine as in the "Restaurant La Colonna".

The Wellness and Relaxation enjoyed in the open air will be accompanied by a selection of well-balanced meals and snacks, ensuring proper attention to your emotional state. In a stay totally devoted to you, our selection of creative and tasty treats, associated with our breathtaking views, will help add touches of unexpected pleasures to your wellbeing.

Wine - Gift Shop

The wide selection of our cellar will allow you to savour the flavours of Tuscany primarily through a rich on site tasting at our Lounge Bar, with wines carefully selected by our Sommelier and later, to bring back a "souvenir" from our Wineries that will allow you to continue to enjoy the emotions experienced during your stay and relive the memories of your holiday in the Chianti region and your experience at the Hotel Le Fontanelle.

The Hotel Le Fontanelle's Wine/Gift Shop proposes Chianti Classico Wines, Extra Virgin Olive Oil that we produce and other local products for sale.
