YOUR WELLBEING, OUR PRIORITY
 

Dear Valued Guest,
At Hotel Le Fontanelle the health and safety of our guests and employees continue to be our top priority as we respond to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic.
We have taken diligent health and safety measures in all areas of the hotel according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the WHO (World Health Organization) and we continue to closely follow the latest guidance from the Italian government and world health authorities.
We will undertake comprehensive and continual reviews of our operations to ensure that our comprehensive health and safety protocols continue to meet the highest of standards, adhering to all new requirements.

Generic Procedures

  • Room accommodation allows for no more than two adults and two children.
  • All employees are provided appropriate safety equipment.
  • Maximum capacity is restricted to 2 people of the same family in each elevator.
  • Valet service is only available on request.
  • All catering events and any night activity are prohibited.
  • One room has been assigned to quarantine any suspected cases and illness.
  • 24/7 doctor and clinic are provided upon request with appropriate charges.
  • Quality of protection tools and sterilization products are provided through companies approved by the Ministry of Health.

Reception Precautions

  • Sterilizer is placed at all entrances and throughout the hotel.
  • In order to minimize risks, contactless check-in and check-out shall be encouraged.
  • Guest check-in procedures are encouraged to be electronic and we strongly encourage to send your personal details before check-in. For guests who have booked directly with us, we will contact them via email approximately 10 days prior to arrival with information about our enhanced health and safety measures and to help them make the most of their forthcoming stay.
  • Guests will be requested to fill in health and travel declaration form.
  • Guest luggage is sanitized prior to entering the Hotel and before leaving.
  • Guest temperature is measured at the hotel entrance upon arrival, and periodically throughout the stay, we will be asking all guests to undergo a contactless temperature check.
  • Please be aware that we are unable to accommodate guests if they do not complete this check.
  • If this contactless temperature screen reveals a fever above the threshold listed by local health authorities as a possible symptom of COVID-19, or if guest or a member of your household has had any other symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within the previous 14 days, unfortunately, we will be unable to provide overnight accommodation.
  • Hand sanitizers are placed on the reception and in all public areas.
  • Face masks are available for guests to use, upon request.
  • All public areas are sanitized regularly.

Employee Precautions

  • Temperature check for employees will take place daily at the entrance.
  • Medical awareness and safety procedures are provided to all employees.
  • All our colleagues are trained on hygiene and sanitation protocols.
  • All our colleagues are equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE), practice strict, personal hygiene and safety precautions at work and stay at home if they are unwell.

Restaurant Precautions

  • Buffets and self-service options will not be provided and will be replaced by à-la-carte.
  • Appropriate table distancing measures in breakfast areas and restaurants shall be adopted.
  • All cutlery, china and glass wear are sanitized after use.
  • Sanitizers and wipes are available on each table.
  • Awareness signs are placed in the restaurant.

Swimming Pool Precautions

  • Regular sanitation of the swimming pool with maximum chlorine (5mg/liter) and bromine (10mg/ liter) levels.
  • Sanitation of the pool area, surfaces, tables and chairs after each use and after the closing.
  • A space of at least one meter and sixty centimeters between each chaise longue.
  • Pool towels will be given directly to the guest.
  • All group activities at the pools are prohibited.

Fitness Centre and Spa Precautions

  • All equipment, surfaces and gym area are sanitized twice a day and after each guest.
  • Healthy distance is maintained between each machine.
  • Usage of showers, Jacuzzi, steam and sauna are prohibited as for the moment and will be operated in accordance with our enhanced cleaning protocols and in accordance with local code and regulations.

Housekeeping and Laundry Precautions

  • Rooms disinfected daily with EPA approved products by the instructions of the Ministry of Health.
  • All public area points of contact and public bathrooms are cleaned and sterilized every hour using antiseptics.
  • Corridors are sanitized every day and rooms are disinfected after guests check out.
  • Steam machine is used to disinfect furniture and fabrics.
  • Laundry, linen and swimming pool towels are washed at high temperature (90°) and the laundry is completely sanitized daily.
  • Bed linen will be changed on daily bases on request.
  • Safe disposal of waste in coordination with Ministries of Health, Housing and Environment.
